Wolfeboro Bay Center in Wolfeboro, NH is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our resident-focused team. You will work with the Activities Director to plan engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs tailored to residents’ interests and needs.

This role emphasizes helping lead group activities, one-to-one interactions, and community outings, while documenting participation and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, creative, and energetic approach to working with residents.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating group activities, individual visits, and recreational and wellness programs.
• Get to know residents and their families to better understand individual interests and encourage participation.
• Escort residents to activities and assist with community outings, appointments, and events.
• Help create and maintain monthly activity calendars.
• Document resident participation and response to activities.
• Observe and communicate changes in resident mood, behavior, or engagement.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate resident needs and activities.
• Help maintain organized and accessible activity supplies.
• Promote resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, safety, and infection-control practices.
• Participate in required training, safety drills, and quality-improvement activities.

Available Shift(s):

Week 1 Sunday 8a-4p, Tuesday-Friday 9a-5p
Week 2 Monday-Thursday 9a-5p, Saturday 8a-4p

Compensation:

$18.50-23.00, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation options

About The Role

We're looking for an Activities Assistant who enjoys connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences. In this role, you'll work alongside the Activities Director to provide recreational, social, and wellness programs designed around residents' interests, abilities, and individual needs.

Whether you're helping lead a group activity, spending one-on-one time with a resident, or helping coordinate an outing, you'll play an important role in keeping residents engaged, connected, and involved in their community. This aligns with the position's responsibility for resident programming, participation, outings, documentation, and resident engagement.

What You'll Do
