Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo is seeking a part-time Activities Aide to coordinate leisure and recreation programs for residents. The role requires at least a high school diploma and six months of related experience, with English literacy and preferred dementia/elderly experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates comprehensive activity events to meet residents' leisure and recreation needs.
• Monitors supplies within the Activities Department and notifies the coordinator of purchasing needs.
• Assists with scheduling, planning, and implementing activity programs.
• Enhances programs through community resources and special events coordination.
• Assists in transporting and escorting residents to and from activities on and off campus.

Job Summary

The Activity Aide - Assisted Living and Special Care Residence will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive activity events to meet the leisure and recreation needs of our residents.

Essential Job Duties

• Monitors the supply levels within the Activities Department and notifies the Activities Coordinator of purchasing needs.
• Assists with coordination, scheduling, planning, implementing comprehensive activity programs
• Enhances activity program through research of community resources and coordination of special events
• Assist in transporting and escorting residents to and from activity programs, both on and off campus
• Maintains high visiability during activities; assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues and concerns related to activity programs.
