Village Point is a Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Monroe Township, NJ, seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to join Springpoint Senior Living, Inc. The role provides therapeutic activity programs to residents and supports the activities director.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting activities, preparing supplies, tracking participation, and assisting with outings. A high school diploma is required; certification is preferred and prior experience is favored.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from NCCAP or NCTR preferred.
• 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.

• Attend scheduled educational offerings pertaining to patient activities and resident care.
• Assist with outings.

Village Point is seeking a highly energetic Activities Aide to join our team!

Village Point is a Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center located in Monroe Township, NJ. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities.
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities.
• Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
• Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
• Assist with outings.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred
• 2 Years experience in a similar role preferred

Pay Range: $16.15 - $17.47 / hour

Available Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 4PM-8PM + Friday, 9AM-5PM
