Job summary

Springpoint at Manalapan, a Senior Living Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Manalapan, NJ, is seeking a full-time Activities Aide to provide therapeutic activity programs for residents.

The role involves assisting in planning and directing activities, preparing supplies, and escorting residents. Education requirements include a high school diploma; certification is preferred and two years’ related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred.
• 2 Years experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities.
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities.
• Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
• Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
• Assist with outings.

Springpoint at Manalapan is a Senior Living Assisted Living and Memory Care Community located in Manalapan, NJ. We are currently seeking a FT Activities Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.
