Job summary

Meadow Lakes is seeking highly energetic Activities Aides to join our team at our East Windsor, NJ location. The part-time role focuses on providing therapeutic activity programs and supporting residents through planned activities, outings, and group sessions.

Responsibilities include organizing activities, preparing materials, escorting residents, and maintaining participation records. Certifications are preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
• 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.

• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities, focusing on Music and Memory.

• Keep a daily record of activities each resident participated in.
• Attend scheduled educational offerings pertaining to patient activities and resident care.
• Assist with outings.

Meadow Lakes is seeking highly energetic Activities Aides to join our team!

Meadow Lakes is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in East Windsor, NJ. We are currently seeking Part Time Activities Aides to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities, focus on Music and Memory
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities.
• Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
• Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
• Assist with outings.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred
• 2 Years experience in a similar role preferred

Pay Range: $16.50-$19.50
