Job summary

Day Brook Village Nursing & Rehab Center in Holyoke, MA is seeking an Activities Aide to help encourage socialization, provide entertainment, lead groups, and support daily living skills. Training is provided and weekend/evening differential is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, behavior, and degree of involvement during activities.
• Encourage resident participation as deemed appropriate.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and in activity care plans and assessments.
• Interview residents or family members to obtain activity information.
• Arrange transportation for outings as needed.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and staff.
• Assist with maintaining an ongoing quality assurance program for the activity department.

As An Activities Aide You Will

• Perform administrative duties, i.. completing necessary forms, reports, etc.

Pay Rate Based On Years Of Experience

$16.00 - $18.78 per hour

Weekend and evening differential available
