Job summary

Intradeco Apparel, Inc. in New York City seeks a Designer for Men’s & Boys Activewear and Baselayer to translate market trends into customer-focused designs.

You will partner with Design, Merchandising, and PD teams to develop products across private label and licensed brands. The ideal candidate holds a BFA in Art or Fashion Design, 4+ years of experience, strong Illustrator/Photoshop skills, and knowledge of patternmaking, technical design, and textiles.

Qualifications

• BFA in Art or Fashion Design or related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience.
• Knowledge of apparel design and fabrics; product development.
• Experience working with Walmart or mass retailers.
• Excellent Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Working knowledge of patternmaking and technical design.
• Experience with screen printing and sublimation techniques.
• Knowledge of textile development and 3D design a plus.

Responsibilities

• DESIGN INNOVATION: research trends, drive seasonal presentations, and collaborate with sales/merchandising/PD teams.
• PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: sketch tech packs, use 3D tools for colorways, manage samples with cross-functional teams.
• COLLABORATE: coordinate with Sr. Graphics, update tech packs, and ensure line sheets reflect changes.
• ORGANIZATION/COMMUNICATION: own decisions, meet deadlines, and communicate with retailer partners.
