Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join a polymer compounding and recycling operation that transforms recycled plastics into high-performance engineering materials used across a variety of industries. As a Production Worker, you support daily recycling and compounding activities by feeding materials into equipment, monitoring conveyor systems, inspecting materials for quality, and assisting with general manufacturing tasks throughout the facility. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and want to contribute to sustainable, environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Feed plastic materials into conveyor systems and production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Monitor production lines continuously to ensure materials flow properly and without interruption.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency with production standards.

• Identify contaminants and remove non-conforming materials to maintain product quality.

• Monitor equipment during operation and promptly notify supervisors of unusual sounds, jams, or operational issues.

• Assist in shredding, compounding, and recycling operations throughout the facility.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.

• Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies at all times.

• Support other production, warehouse, and general labor functions as needed to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong attention to detail when monitoring materials and equipment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work overtime as needed to support production demands.

• Previous machine operator experience.

• Experience working around conveyor systems or manufacturing equipment.

• Forklift experience with sit-down forklifts, such as Toyota or Nissan models.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing and recycling facility with exposure to industrial machinery, production noise, and active material processing. The workplace is team-oriented, with frequent interaction around conveyor systems, shredders, and other material processing equipment. You are expected to follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required, and remain comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial production setting throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
