Job summary

GeoLogics in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Hardware/Software Integration and Test Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role requires US Citizenship and active clearance; W2 hourly contract only; no 1099, no C2C. Pay: $35 to $42/hr, DOE.

The engineer will plan and perform integration and testing of hardware and software components within a combat vehicle system, including scripting, troubleshooting, and verification activities on lab and field environments.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in C, C++, C#, or Python.
• Understanding of software development and systems engineering practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on systems integration and test of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems in software labs and on tactical military hardware and vehicles.
• Creates, plans, and executes software analysis, design, development, code, documentation, integration, test and product assurance tasks.
• Contributes to the development of engineering design models and develops programs to enhance, implement and support project functionality.
• Participates in software requirements, design, and code reviews.
• Develops and executes test cases, scripts, plans, and scenarios for new software releases in lab and field environments.
• Ensures outcomes align with engineering principles and that requirements are met.
