Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant/Porter to support the Sales Department. You will help keep the lot organized, stage vehicles, and ensure the dealership presents a professional, welcoming image to customers.

The ideal candidate enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and takes pride in a clean environment. Previous dealership experience is helpful but not required; strong reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and presentable vehicle lot.
• Move, park, and stage vehicles as directed by the Sales Department.
• Prepare vehicles for customer appointments, test drives, and delivery.
• Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and display-ready.
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable, including basic exterior and interior touch-ups as needed.
• Check vehicles for cleanliness, visible damage, and overall appearance.
• Assist with locating vehicles for sales staff and customers.
• Move newly arrived inventory to designated areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness around the dealership lot and vehicle display areas.
• Install or remove dealership materials such as license plate frames and window displays as directed.
• Assist the sales team with vehicle-related tasks throughout the day.
• Follow dealership safety procedures when operating and parking vehicles.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
