Tom Wood Group is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant/Porter to support the Sales Department by keeping the lot organized, staging vehicles, and preparing cars for appointments and delivery. The role emphasizes attention to appearance, safety, and customer-friendly service.

The position involves outdoor work, moving vehicles, basic touch-ups, and assisting sales staff throughout the day in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and stay active throughout shift.
• Previous dealership porter or automotive experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and presentable new and pre-owned vehicle lot.
• Move, park, and stage vehicles as directed by the Sales Department.
• Prepare vehicles for customer appointments, test drives, and delivery.
• Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and display-ready.
• Keep vehicles clean with basic exterior and interior touch-ups.
• Check vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and overall appearance.
• Assist with locating vehicles for sales staff and customers.
• Move newly arrived inventory to designated areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness around the dealership lot and display areas.
• Install or remove dealership materials such as license plate frames and window displays.
• Assist the sales team with vehicle-related tasks throughout the day.
• Follow dealership safety procedures when operating and parking vehicles.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and team members.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Sales Porter to support our dealership's Sales Department. This position plays an important role in keeping the lot organized, vehicles properly staged, and the dealership looking its best for customers.

The ideal candidate enjoys working around vehicles, stays active throughout the day, and takes pride in creating a clean, professional environment.
