Job summary

Wingate Management Company in Lanham, MD is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain property grounds, pick up debris, and assist with apartment turnover. This is a hands-on, outdoor role that requires physical work in all weather.

You will walk the property, clean outdoor areas, prep vacant apartments, and support the maintenance team. Prior outdoor work experience is valued; you must lift, carry, and stay active throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical outdoor work daily.
• Willingness to lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property regularly to pick up trash and keep outdoor areas clean.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, common areas, and surrounding spaces.
• Work outdoors throughout the year in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions.
• Assist with cleaning out apartments after residents move out, removing trash and belongings.
• Prepare vacant apartments and surrounding areas for incoming residents.
• Assist maintenance and property management with general grounds upkeep as needed.
