Job summary

DogSpot in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Doggy Daycare Attendant. This fast-paced, cage-free facility requires you to monitor dogs, clean up, and keep up with movement with the dogs throughout the shift.

Applicants should have at least 1 year canine experience, be able to read dogs, handle groups of 40 to 50, and be prepared for weekend availability; training pay starts at $16 and raises to $18 after training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working with canines (doggy daycare, kennel, training, or hands-on).
• Must be passionate about dogs and able to handle groups of 40–50 dogs.
• Comfortable in a loud, very active environment; ready to move quickly with the dogs.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to multi-task and think quickly.
• Excellent attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dogs and maintain supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Clean up after dogs and keep the facility tidy and safe.
• Engage dogs with active play and ensure safe group interactions.
• Read dog behavior and respond confidently in a large group.
• Work weekends and adapt to a high-energy schedule.
