Job summary

DogSpot seeks a Doggy Daycare Attendant in Oceanside, CA to monitor and engage active dogs in a fast-paced indoor facility. You will move continuously with the dogs, read their behavior, and ensure safety in a large group setting.

Responsibilities include supervising up to 40–50 dogs, handling dogs confidently, and maintaining high energy throughout shifts. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 1 year working K9 experience (doggy daycare, kennel, training, hands on).
• Must be passionate about dogs.
• Must be able to handle dogs in packs of 40 to 50.
• Must have confidence around dogs and knowledge of breeds.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment (dogs barking all day).
• Must feel comfortable in a very active/energetic position - attendants move with the dogs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated and think quickly about dog behavior.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude are critical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dogs and clean up after them in a fast-paced environment.
• Move quickly and stay active with the dogs throughout the shift.
• Interact with dogs by running, throwing balls, and keeping them engaged.
