Job summary

Sira Consulting, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking an Experienced AD Specialist to lead directory migration and consolidation efforts. You will manage mergers/demergers of AD environments, work with ADMT and Quest tools, and produce comprehensive AD health reports.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of active directory concepts including membership in security groups and OU structures.
• Experience with Windows Registry and documenting config changes.
• Solid Windows OS knowledge with focus on Active Directory integration.
• Designing and planning Windows environments with AD.
• Hands-on migration and consolidation project experience.
• Experience in mergers and demergers of AD environments.
• Expertise with migration tools like ADMT and Quest.
• Familiar with security translation and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead AD migration and consolidation projects with minimal downtime.
• Manage merger/demerger activities in AD environments.
• Utilize migration tools (ADMT, Quest) for seamless transitions.
• Create and maintain reports on AD health and changes.
• Train users and document AD-related procedures.
• Coordinate patching and antivirus tool implementations across the AD estate.

Job description

• Strong knowledge of active directory concepts and configuration, i.e. need to understand membership in security groups, inherited groups, OU structure, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes.
• Good knowledge on Windows including Active Directory.
• Excellent skills on windows designing & planning
• Hands on experience on migration and consolidation project
• Experience on Merger and Demerger of active directory Environment
• Expert on migrations tools ( Ex. ADMT, Quest e.t.c)
• Good experience on Security translation
• Good understanding on reporting tools
• Good experience user training and documentation.
• Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools
• Good communications Skills, Interpersonal and willingness to excel and performance oriented
