Job summary

Qualifications

• No education or prior experience required; Hy-Vee will provide training.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and perform basic math.
• Capable of standing/walking for long shifts and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Package purchases and assist customers in transporting them to their vehicle.
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors.
• Stock, face, rotate merchandise and know shelf locations in store/backroom.
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed.
• Report to work on time and follow Hy-Vee policies.
