Responsibilities

  • Operate touring tractor-trailer safely across North America between events.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper rigging.
  • Demonstrate equipment as on-site expert for customers and partners.
  • Take photos and report metrics after each event.
  • Present product features and use cases aligned with brand messaging.
  • Perform routine maintenance on demo equipment and ensure readiness.
  • Uphold safety, risk, and operational SOPs while on tour.
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
  • Book travel through the corporate site as needed and maintain professionalism.

Job description

The Experiential Activation Tour Manager - CDL-A will serve as a dual-role commercial driver and on-site demonstrator for a national touring experiential activation representing heavy and compact construction equipment. This role requires full CDL-A compliance, hands‑on operational expertise with construction machinery, and the ability to confidently present, demonstrate, and educate customers and partners on products. This position is client-facing and brand-critical. The Tour Manager is expected to represent both the client and Feld with professionalism, technical knowledge, poise, and adherence to all safety and operational standards. This is a traveling role and supports a multi-stop national tour.

Essential Job Functions
  • Operate a touring tractor‑trailer experience throughout North America to, from, and between events and other locations in a safe and timely manner. Transporting heavy and compact construction equipment in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper rigging, tie‑downs, and safety procedures.
  • Serve as an on-site subject matter expert for equipment operation and safety. Demonstrating heavy and compact construction equipment to customers, rental partners, and sales teams.
  • Responsible for taking photos and reporting back metrics and notes on each event.
  • Present product features, applications, and use cases aligned with brand standards and messaging.
  • Responsible for operating and ensuring routine maintenance is performed on heavy and compact demo equipment (training to be provided).
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the brand experience while keeping the safety and security of the consumers, audience, and company at the forefront of priority.
  • Responsible for managing a product demonstration experience involving heavy and compact equipment on closed tracks as well as open trail systems.
  • Able to travel on the road for the full 34‑week tour route.
  • Presentation must be kept neat, clean, and visually appealing to all the Guests. Team Members are expected to uphold cleanliness in the Experience and at specific work locations and represent Feld and the client with professionalism at all times.
  • Uphold all safety, risk, and operational SOPs.
  • Collaborate with fellow Tour Manager and Brand Ambassador to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience managing and activating for experiential marketing campaigns on a national level is preferred.
  • Must have a current CDL-A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Hands‑on experience operating construction machinery preferred (telehandlers, skid steers, excavators, lifts).
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of the team environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel full-time for the duration of the tour.
  • Preferred experience with similar demo programs in a lead and chase format.
  • Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
  • Maintain polished, professional appearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair tour assets.
  • Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift larger items during set-up and tear-down of the display.
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude.
  • Mechanical knowledge, tractor, generator, construction equipment; mechanical maintenance a plus.
  • Ability to speak enthusiastically to large groups of diverse people and lead live demonstrations; emcee experience a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly to become an expert on client initiatives.
  • Ability to educate, manage, and lead consumers.
  • Critical thinker and team player, as this position has a teammate for the season.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with working knowledge of Excel and Word, and must be comfortable booking own travel through the corporate site.
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment.
  • Self‑starter, with proven ability to work without supervision.
