Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Activation Engineer to serve as the on-site engineering and technical expert for activating new buildings. You will work closely with the Sr. Engineering Project Manager to ensure projects launch on time, within budget, and with fully integrated automation systems.

You will lead greenfield activations, provide technical oversight, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable capacity and productivity gains. Expect travel to sites up to 80% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Passion for understanding and applying supply chain automation technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills with diverse teams.
• Strong communication to liaise with contractors, project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield activation of new buildings from ground up to completion.
• Provide technical oversight, leadership, and commissioning support for automation projects.

• Provide permitting support and ensure on-time building launches.
• Act as on-site engineering and technical expert for activation activities.
