Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with defense policy, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Theater Special Operations Commands.
• Experience drafting materials for senior executive leadership, including read-aheads and talking points for bilateral and multilateral international policy-level engagements.
• Experience with experimentation such as wargame planning or exercise planning.
• Knowledge of defense policy processes and culture.
• Knowledge of U.S. special operations capabilities and formations.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy advice and develop congressional notifications relating to Sensitive Activities as outlined in Title 10.
• Coordinate policy, notifications, follow-on letters, and requests for information across the DoW enterprise.
• Ensure correspondence quality, structure, and formatting for high-level leaders and interagency stakeholders.
