Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least two years in early childhood education, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet state guidelines while lifting up to 40 pounds and working in varied settings. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of early childhood education experience.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles at the center as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver.
