Job summary

SMBC in Charlotte, NC seeks an IT Application Systems Specialist - Associate to support and enhance the Actimize Fraud (IFM) platform, ensuring risk, legal, and regulatory obligations are met.

The role requires deep Actimize experience, including configuring and customizing IFM, AIS/UDM, and WATCH, plus real-time data integration, upgrades, and on-call support. A strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Actimize IFM applications.
• Knowledge of Actimize IFM, AIS/UDM, and WATCH in Oracle/Cassandra environments.
• Experience developing and managing RCM components: Alerts, Plugins, DART, Workflows, admin configurations.
• Designing and implementing real-time interfaces and data integration pipelines with Actimize Modeler.
• 3+ years implementing enterprise technologies or vendor platforms; degree preferred.
• Experience in IT development, system design, integration, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra).
• Familiar with real-time payments processing and financial systems.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Actimize Fraud (IFM) platform to meet risk and regulatory obligations.
• Design and implement Actimize workflows, plugins, and data integration pipelines.
• Perform upgrades and provide on-call user support.
• Collaborate with business units and support teams to deliver changes.
• Develop and execute unit tests; document technical details.
• Act as escalation point for complex production issues.
• Participate in system implementations and go-lives with potential after-hours support.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement.
