Qualifications

• Proven software development or QA experience in financial services or related industries.

• Automation testing via Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or JUnit for mobile and web apps.
• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL; ability to write complex queries.
• Version control: Git (GitHub/GitLab), SVN, TFS.
• Cloud services: AWS or Azure for deployment/integration.
• Networking concepts for system integration.
• Awareness of Agile methodologies using Jira or TFS; MVC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications as an Actimize Business Analyst.
• Perform data analysis using SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) and PL/SQL for fraud detection models and reporting.
• Maintain version control through GitHub, SVN, TFS, and GitLab; manage code repositories in IDEs like Eclipse and Visual Studio.
• Integrate Actimise solutions with REST APIs, JDBC, XML/JSON; leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement in the SDLC.
• Support deployments in DevOps pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, and containerization tools where applicable.

Experience

• Proven experience in software development or quality assurance roles within financial services or related industries.
• Strong background in developing or testing applications using Java (including Java EE), C#,.NET frameworks, Python, C++, Node.js, PHP, HTML/CSS/JavaScript for UI/UX enhancements.
• Hands‑on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or JUnit frameworks for mobile and web applications on Android/iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, Oracle DBMS (PL/SQL), Microsoft SQL Server; proficiency in writing complex queries for data analysis.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git (GitHub/GitLab), SVN (Subversion), TFS for source code management.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deployment or integration tasks.
• Understanding of networking concepts including computer networking fundamentals necessary for system integration.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions; excellent problem‑solving skills are essential.
• Prior exposure to Agile methodologies using Jira or TFS for project tracking; familiarity with MVC architecture is a plus.

Pay

Up to $80.00 per hour
