Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT/F-ACT) team in Virginia. You will deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy, work within a multidisciplinary group, and bring services directly to individuals where they live to promote stability and independence.

You will collaborate with families and other professionals to create structured, person-centered treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust care as needs shift.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPC or LCSW, or license-eligible as Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work.
• Master's degree in Human Services or a related field.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience working with adults with severe mental illness.
• Valid Virginia Driver's License and required state and federal clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment: deliver individual and group therapy with evidence-based approaches.
• Lead coordinated care: develop and monitor person-centered treatment plans and coordinate across the treatment team.
• Support recovery in the community: provide rehabilitation and skill-building to improve daily living, social, housing, and community integration.
• Respond to changing needs: conduct ongoing assessments, monitor progress, and adjust services as needed.
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team: participate in daily team meetings and treatment planning under leadership guidance.
