Job summary

Mount Rogers Community Services Board seeks a clinician-leader to direct day-to-day ACT team operations in Marion, VA. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, lead treatment planning, and ensure high-quality services for individuals with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, initial assessments, treatment plans, and medical records; implementing program policies; and maintaining strong QA collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation, or psychology.
• Licensed or licensed eligible in Virginia; licensed staff preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and copy of safe driving record.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the ACT team, lead daily staff meetings and treatment planning, and monitor treatment needs.
• Direct and coordinate admission process and initial assessment, plan, assign staff, and supervise ITT development.
• Coordinate comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history, health, education, living, and family factors; monitor functioning.
• Recruit, interview, hire, assign work, orient, and supervise staff; train and supervise students as needed.
• Supervise medical records management; ensure compliance with policies and third-party payer requirements; collaborate with QA.
• Develop and maintain program policies and procedures; revise as necessary.
• Maintain a caseload of individuals needing counseling services; participate in on-call and holiday service delivery.
