Job summary

Genesee Health System seeks an ACT Specialist (RN only) to deliver intensive off-site clinical services under the ACT Program. You will coordinate with hospitals, courts, and families, often working at client homes or agreed sites, with on-call responsibilities around the clock.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, a Master’s in Nursing, and at least one year of adult mental illness experience. Strong teamwork and liaison skills are essential for success in this 7-day-a-week program.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan.
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year clinical experience with adults with severe mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, intensive off-site clinical services to Genesee Health System clients assigned to the ACT Program.
• Liaise with ancillary agencies, courts, hospitals, the police, and families; coordinate information and feedback with the team.
• Be available for on-call coverage 7 days a week and provide emergency interventions as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision and support program operations at client sites, including homes or mutually agreed locations.
