Network180 in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an ACT Peer Support Specialist to help individuals understand and access mental health and substance use services. The role emphasizes recovery, coping skills, and in-person support with the Assertive Community Treatment team.

This 40-hour-per-week position requires travel within the community, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends. Offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification as Peer Support Specialist or able to obtain certification within first year of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ongoing stability of symptoms and recovery with ability to help others.
• Knowledge about mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders and recovery/crisis planning.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and data entry.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers.
