Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services in Virginia is seeking a qualified clinician to assess plans, coordinate treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness under supervision.
Responsibilities include weekly medication bag/box fills, delivering medications to homes on a rotating basis, and participation in on-call rotations. Licensure coursework and VA pre-screener eligibility are required or obtainable within six months.
Assesses plans, develops, coordinates, and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and psychiatrist. Functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, or may be designated by the team leader to function as the lead mental health professional. Assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis; participates in on-call rotation.
