MBI Health Services in Washington, DC is seeking an ACT Support Specialist I to perform a blend of clinical and administrative duties, support Community Support Workers (CSWs), and coordinate care for clients.

You will deliver therapeutic services, prepare assessments, maintain confidentiality, and ensure effective communication with the clinical team, with a minimum of 10 billable therapy hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or behavioral health related field.
  • 1–2 years in a mental health environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with charting and clinical notes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Community Support Workers (CSWs).
  • Coordinate care and future healthcare needs with the clinical team.
  • Provide an effective communication link between the consumer and the clinical team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.
  • Collect information about clients through interviews, tests, and evaluation of day-to-day functioning within work, family, and other routines; identifying areas needing continued support, resources, and treatment to assist clients.
  • Provide therapeutic services to clients through individual, family, and group sessions that are consistent with current research, professional standards, and MBI’s vision and values (You will be expected to provide a minimum of 10 billable therapy hours per week).
  • Prepare diagnostic and bio-psychosocial assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and revising treatment plans for clients, as needed.
  • Provide follow-up and aftercare planning services, as needed.
  • Provide emergency services during working hours and after-hours, as assigned.
  • Attend staff meetings and other activities that ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations.
  • All duties and responsibilities must be performed in compliance with the District of Columbia’s Behavioral Health Standards, the regulations of MBI Health Services, LLC, and all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Attending all company-required trainings.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
