Job summary

La Clinica de Familia Inc seeks a Peer Support worker to provide services to members with behavioral health issues and chronic illnesses. You will advocate for consumers, share information, and assist in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities include applying new skills, maintaining effective patient relationships, and communicating clearly with team members. A GED or high school diploma and NM peer certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • State certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (NM)
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records helpful

Job Summary

Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.

Job Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
