St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. in Reading, PA is seeking an ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Supervisor for 1st shift. The role oversees a seven-person team, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule. Pay is $31.30 per hour, full-time, with benefits.

The position requires prior security supervisory experience, a valid PA ACT 235 license, and the ability to pass a background check. Relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Current ACT 235 certification is required.
• Experience as a Security Supervisor is required.
• Strong written communication for report writing.
• Personal firearm, level 2+ holster, and duty belt.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of Security Supervisor experience preferred.
• Law enforcement and/or military background preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from the site.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned interior/exterior areas by foot.
• Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents per policy and use-of-force guidelines.
• Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity logs (DARs).
• Enforce site policies, post orders, and client rules.
• Support customer service needs throughout the facility.
• Stay informed on site emergency protocols.
• Supervise a 7-man security team.
• Train new employees and ongoing staff.
