Job summary

JBR Contracting Coastal Bath Remodel is seeking experienced independent contractors to install premium acrylic bath systems in Portland, Maine and surrounding communities. This 1099 role offers up to $1,800 per completed installation with flexible scheduling and ongoing opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in bathroom remodeling or carpentry, own tools, and can safely lift up to 100 pounds. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in bathroom remodeling, carpentry, trim carpentry, or residential construction.
• Experience installing bath or shower systems preferred.
• Ability to accurately measure and work with standard construction tools.
• Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete bath and shower remodeling projects per company standards.
• Demonstrate quality workmanship and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Review completed projects with homeowners and provide product care instructions.
• Submit required job documentation and take project photos.
• Manage installation materials and maintain tools and equipment.
• Communicate progress with the project team.
