Join Our Team as an Acquisitions Manager - Philadelphia, PA

Great River Learning (GRL) is seeking a qualified Acquisitions Manager to join our team. This remote role involves working with colleges and universities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to identify business opportunities, interview professors, and persuade potential authors to develop engaging, media-rich educational publications. The position requires 8 weeks of overnight travel each semester and previous sales experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Proactively plan and schedule your week by sending emails and making calls to set meetings.
  2. Conduct meetings to interview, identify opportunities, and recruit college professors as authors.
  3. Utilize campus visits effectively by making additional calls to high-priority contacts or department chairs.
  4. Follow up with prospective and current authors, maintaining notes and next steps in the CRM system.
