Acquisitions Associate – Direct Impact on Portfolio Growth
Saglo Companies is a privately owned real estate investment and operating company specializing in neighborhood and community shopping centers. Founded in 1976, we acquire, improve, lease, and actively manage retail properties across Florida, Georgia, and Maryland. We combine the experience, capital, and credibility of a 50-year-old company with the speed, accessibility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a smaller organization. Our people work closely with senior leadership, take meaningful ownership of results, and can directly see the impact of their work. Saglo is entering an important period of growth, with significant capital deployment and portfolio expansion planned over the coming years. We are looking for talented people who think like owners, act with urgency, communicate directly, work well with others, continue learning, and finish what they start. Our culture is guided by five core values: Service Focused, All About the Team, Glass Half Full, Learning All the Time, and On the Ball.
Saglo Companies is seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial Acquisitions Associate who wants to make a direct and measurable impact on the growth of our portfolio. Our goal is to acquire $70 million of shopping centers this year—more than twice our previous annual record—and we are looking for a true dealmaker who can help us get there.
This is not a traditional underwriting-only position. The right candidate will combine strong discounted cash flow and financial analysis skills with the relationship-building ability, persistence and initiative required to uncover opportunities from brokers, owners, industry contacts and other sources. You should be comfortable evaluating investments, identifying ways to create value, building relationships by phone and in person, attending industry conferences and helping move transactions from initial review through closing.
Saglo has been investing in shopping centers for 50 years and has a strong track record, experienced team and ambitious plans for continued growth. We are looking for someone with high agency, high accountability and an exceptional work ethic who can hit the ground running and begin moving the needle within the first three to six months.
