We are seeking a Sr. Acquisitions Associate to join our dynamic team of commercial real estate professionals. Reporting to the Acquisitions Director, the Sr. Acquisitions Associate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating the acquisition of off- and on-market retail, office, industrial, medical, gas stations and hospitality properties. We are on target to hit over $800,000,000 in sales volume in 2026.
Compensation
This is a full-time, commission-only (no salary) position. Your compensation begins and ends with your production and could earn you $300k - $500k+ yearly depending on your output. Please do not apply if you are seeking a salaried role.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, sellers, and other key players in the commercial real estate market.
- Conduct property inspections and due diligence to evaluate the viability of potential acquisition targets.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing for acquisitions, under the direction of the Acquisitions Director.
- Manage the acquisition process from initial contact through closing, coordinating with the Acquisitions Director and other team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all acquisition activities, including tracking progress and key performance indicators.
- Stay up to date on market trends and conditions to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and contribute to efforts to implement best practices in acquisition processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate acquisition or commercial real estate brokerage (investment sales): experience with retail, office, industrial, medical, and hospitality properties preferred
- Demonstrated history of originating deals, building broker relationships, and managing a transaction pipeline
- Track record of closed transactions and/or sourced deal volumeComfort operating in a commission-driven, performance-based environment
- Strong relationship-building and pipeline development skills
- Excellent negotiation and financial analysis skills
- Experience with property inspections and due diligence
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Knowledge of local real estate markets and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with listings sites (e.g., CoStar, LoopNet) and comfortable with SaaS tools like CRM and project management software
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
