Job summary

Astrion seeks an Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal to support the Cloud One program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This full-time, salaried role requires US citizenship, a current Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 20 years of program management experience (10 in AF acquisition).

You will develop acquisition strategies, draft ACAT I documentation, review RFPs, and collaborate with IPTs and MAJCOM stakeholders to align schedules and budgets with mission needs.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 20 years of program management experience, 10 in AF acquisition
• Experience with ACAT I programs and acquisition documentation
• Ability to draft acquisition strategy and RFP documentation
• Strong written and oral communication under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Research DoD cyber defense products and government systems.
• Collaborate with IPT to examine issues and develop corrective actions.
• Develop plans and acquisition strategies to meet technical requirements within cost/schedule constraints.
• Support mission execution including operational planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in technical evaluations of proposals.
• Review and track prime contractor deliverables and schedules.
• Stay current on future capabilities and decision-making processes.
• Support acquisition strategy reviews and draft RFP documents.
• Support program management reviews and senior-level meetings.
• Prepare briefings and schedules for status and tasks to senior management.
• Coordinate with MAJCOM stakeholders and industry on requirements and emerging technologies.
• Oversee junior and mid-level staff within the discipline.
