Job summary

Vistal is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to work directly with the CEO to identify, evaluate, and advance acquisition opportunities that create long-term value for current and future employee-owners.

You will participate in market mapping, target identification, due diligence, transaction execution, and integration planning, engaging with founders, lenders, attorneys, and the Board.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate development or transaction‑intensive experience.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities.
• Ability to build trust with business owners and senior leaders.
• Desire to create lasting value through acquisitions and employee ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and advance a proprietary acquisition pipeline.
• Identify and evaluate acquisition targets across engineering and infrastructure markets.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and transaction scenarios.
• Prepare executive, investment committee, and Board materials.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams.
• Support negotiation, structuring, financing, and closing activities.
• Help translate acquisitions into successful integrations and long-term value creation initiatives.
