Job summary

The role involves cost estimating, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS/AFARS; drafting memos and coordinating with IPT leads. Requires US citizenship and SECRET clearance, plus 15 years in acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and possess a SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree; additional experience can substitute for degree.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years Acquisitions experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Support cost estimating and budget activities through all life cycle phases.
• IAW DoD directives, Army Regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in development of acquisition requirement packages per FAR/DFARS/AFARS.
• Draft contracting memos (JEFO, D&F, Brand Name, Limited Source, RFIs, IGCEs, Market Research, Letters of Concern, Acquisition Strategy, and COA Briefs).
• Coordinate and lead teleconferences with IPT leads, KOs, and leadership.
• Generate and update spreadsheets per contract illustrating contract history, funding status, and invoices.
• Update global spreadsheets on the entire portfolio of contracts.
• Maintain pre-award WBS for the PM.

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Entarian is seeking a qualified Senior Acquisition Specialist to support Product Manager (PdM) Multi-Mission Surveillance Systems (M2S2).

The Senior Acquisition Specialist is an Acquisitions Subject Matter Expert who supports the Government in the review of vendor/contractors’ documentation, develops recommended positions, and accomplishes program level activities.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The Following

• Support includes cost estimating and/or budget activities inclusive of all life cycle phases
• Assistance and support performed In Accordance With (IAW) applicable DoD directives, Army Regulations, policies, and procedures
• Support the Government in the development of acquisition requirement packages and performs support functions in compliance with the FAR, DFARS, and as supplemented by the Army Federal Acquisition Regulations (AFARS), Army procedures, and organizational policies/procedures
• Draft contracting memos including but not limited to Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO), Determination and Findings, Brand Name Justifications, Limited Source Justifications, Requests for Information (RFIs), Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCEs), Market Research, Letters of Concern, Acquisition Strategy, and Course of Action Briefs, etc.
• Coordinate and lead teleconferences with IPT leads, KOs, and leadership
• Generate and update spreadsheets per contract illustrating contract history, status of funding on contract, and invoice status
• Update global spreadsheets on the entire portfolio of contracts
• Maintain pre-award WBS for the PM

Salary range: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.)
• Minimum fifteen (15) years Acquisitions experience
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Power-Point, and Share-Point
