Job description

COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for Acquisition Security Manager positions in support of a USAF contract.

Position openings may be available at Wright Patterson AFB, OH; Warner Robins, GA; Hill AFB, UT; and/or Tinker AFB, OK. Positions may be filled at various skill levels (Journeyman, Senior, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative, acquisition security, personnel security, information protection (IP), anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP), operations security (OPSEC), COMSEC, and foreign military sales security support during the capabilities planning, pre-acquisition, acquisition, development, production, and sustainment phases of equipment and weapon systems within the defense acquisition management system.
• Participate in IPTs and related activities, analyze problems, define solutions, provide recommendations, write reports, and perform assigned tasks as per individual task orders.
• Conduct security site surveys for Enhanced End Use Monitoring (EEUM), which may involve foreign travel and interaction with foreign customers.
• Assist in maintaining secure facilities and respond to alarms in accordance with Air Force requirements and directorate OIs.
• Advise senior program leaders on information protection, program protection, personnel, and industrial security matters.
• Assist with receiving and securing classified materials.
• Support the annual security self-inspection program and update security processes and SOPs to ensure compliance across programs.
• Process personnel security clearances through JPAS for military, civilian, and contractor staff.
• Manage program security activities, including information, physical, operational, and personnel security.

Required Experience:

One of the following:

• MA/MS degree with 12+ years of experience in the relevant discipline, including 5 years in the DoD, or
• BA/BS degree with 10-15 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD, or
• HSD/GED with 20 years of related experience, including 8 years in the DoD.

Security clearance: Secret is required; some positions may require TS/SCI. Successful candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
