Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Dominance Division, at Eglin AFB, FL. You will manage acquisition across the full DoD lifecycle, enabling data-driven decisions for air armament programs.

Ideal candidates possess DoD program management experience, current TS clearance, and a strong background in EVM, documentation, and risk management. Collaboration with IPTs and cross-domain teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 25+ years relevant experience or Master’s with 15+ years relevant experience.
• Current Top Secret clearance or higher is required for this role.
• DoD acquisition or regulated environment program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition program management across all DoD lifecycle phases (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support).
• Advise Government Program Managers on execution strategies and risk management.
• Develop and coordinate acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, SOW, SOO, CDRLs).
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance using EVM and earned value metrics.
• Lead or support IPTs, milestone reviews, and technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Support source selection activities, evaluation, and contract modifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders for integrated execution.
• Prepare briefings and decision materials for senior leadership.
• Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation as applicable.

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a SeniorAcquisition Program Management Professional supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Air Dominance Division(AFLCMC/EBA) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position provides acquisition and program management support across the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, enabling rapid, data-driven decision making in support of mission-critical programs. The Air Dominance Division (AFLCMC/EBA) is responsible for delivering advanced air dominanceand weapons capabilities for the United States.

Our Program Managers support the government with planning, researching, analyzing and assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions (development, productionanddeployment), and formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performanceobjectives.

Essential Job Functions:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
• Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk management
• Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as:
  • Acquisition Strategy (AS)
  • Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)
  • Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
  • Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
  • Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
• Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registers
• Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications
• Coordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program execution
• Prepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadership
• Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicable

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s degree and 25 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience.

Current Top Secret clearance

Program management experience preferably within a DoD acquisition or other regulated environment.

Desired Skills:

• Current TS/SCI clearance
• PMP (Project Management Professional
• DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or equivalent
• Experience supporting AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, or equivalent Air Force acquisition organizations
• Experience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)
• Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 series
• Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, etc.)
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and reporting
• Experience with risk management and mitigation planning
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Understanding of requirements development and JCIDS processes (ICD, CDD, CPD)
