The U.S. Department of the Navy invites applications from individuals who have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to NH-02 (GS-11) in the Federal service.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to apply Navy and Department of War acquisition management principles (DoD 5000) to plan and manage activities and documents for Major Defense Acquisition Programs. Experience may include paid or unpaid work; volunteer service through national programs is acceptable.

Job description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing Navy and Department of War acquisition management principles (specifically DoD 5000 requirements), practices, and procedures in order to assure that necessary activities and documents are planned and managed in the accomplishment of Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
