HX5, LLC is seeking an Acquisition Manager (Senior) to work at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. The role requires deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes and ability to support system reviews, design reviews, and production readiness activities. The candidate will develop acquisition documentation and assist with compliance across major programs.

The position is full-time at a government facility with potential travel up to 15%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have understanding of DoD acquisition processes and procedures.
• Experience in developing and drafting acquisition documentation and supporting compliance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% (air travel included).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Assist in drawing conclusions and devising solutions to improve acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Assist with developing and drafting acquisition documentation and quality control.
• Assist with work-load analyses, efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses.
• Support acquisition events and reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.).
• Apply understanding of contracting policies for pre- and post-award situations.

HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Manager work at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. This position supports the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office and will demonstrate an understanding of DoD acquisition processes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of DoD acquisition processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by the USG.
• Assist in drawing conclusions and devising solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Assist with developing and drafting acquisition documentation and assisting with quality control.
• Assist with performing work measurement studies, program or operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses.
• Rely upon and use automated management information systems in performing fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions.
• Support key acquisition events and reviews as needed, such as: System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCM), Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), and others as applicable.
• Apply an understanding of contracting policies and processes for the purpose of analyzing requirements and assisting with the development of solutions to include pre-award and post-award situations.
• Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the DoD acquisition process.

Education And Experience

• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience.
• High school diploma, twenty (20) years of relevant experience, and eight (8) years of DoD experience.
• Bachelor's degree, fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
• Master's degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must be willing to travel up to 15%. (This includes air-travel)
