Job summary

DCS Corporation in Aberdeen, Maryland seeks a qualified acquisition professional to support complex, high-value programs. You will help shape acquisition planning, ensure compliance, and develop essential program documentation to enable successful contracting actions.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree, and at least eight years of relevant experience with Army ACAT programs. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning acquisition planning including cost, schedule, and performance of complex, high-value acquisitions.
• Apply procurement principles and program requirements to ensure acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected in contracting actions.
• Assist in development of acquisition strategies aligned with program goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop acquisition documents such as SAMP, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Program Office Estimate, Acquisition Decision memorandums, and Test & Evaluation plans.
• Coordinate ramp-up of the program as new capabilities are transitioned and developed, ensuring smooth integration and readiness.
• Prepare and develop briefings for internal and external stakeholders communicating program status, challenges, and successes.
• Develop clear, tailored briefings for diverse audiences.
• Travel up to 25%.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning the acquisition planning to include cost, schedule, and performance of highly complex, high monetary value, long term acquisitions.

Apply procurement principles and technical or program requirements to ensure the acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected and are integrated into the resulting contracting and procurement actions.

Assist in the development of acquisition strategies that align with program goals and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the development of acquisition documents such as the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Program Office Estimate, Acquisition Decision memorandums, Test and evaluation plans, etc.

Coordinate and assist in the ramp-up of the program as new capabilities are transitioned and developed, ensuring smooth integration and operational readiness.

Support the preparation and development of briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders that effectively communicate the status, challenges, and successes of the program.

Develop and brief clear, concise, and tailored briefings for various audiences.

Travel Requirement: up to 25%.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelors and 8 years of experience.

TS/SCI clearance is required.

Must have experience supporting an Army ACAT level program.

Pay Range and Benefits:

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range: $96,757 - $150,000
