Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking an Acquisition specialist to support a new program and prepare for two Acquisition Shaping panels in FY25. The role focuses on acquisition planning, cost, schedule, and performance for high-value efforts, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and integrated documentation.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience, and TS/SCI clearance, plus proven Army ACAT program support. Travel up to 25% may be required as the program scales.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning acquisition planning, including cost, schedule, and performance of high-value, long-term acquisitions.
• Apply procurement principles and program requirements to ensure acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected and integrated into contracting actions.
• Assist in developing acquisition strategies aligned with program goals and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing acquisition documents such as the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Program Office Estimate, Acquisition Decision memorandums, and Test & evaluation plans.
• Coordinate and assist in ramp-up of the program as new capabilities are transitioned and developed, ensuring smooth integration and operational readiness.
• Support preparation and development of briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders that communicate status, challenges, and successes.
• Develop and brief clear, concise, tailored briefings for various audiences.
• Travel Requirement: up to 25%.

Pay Range and Benefits:

There are a variety of factors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range:

$96,757 - $150,000
