As an Acquisition Client Manager (ACM), you'll be responsible for new business sales for Optiv security services and security technology solutions to new Enterprise accounts within the state of Missouri. You'll own and coordinate all aspects of the sales cycle within your assigned accounts and lead a cross-functional team to build and execute a multi-year strategic account management plan for your top accounts. This team typically includes a Solutions Architect, Client Operations Specialist, and services practices personnel.

Your core responsibilities include driving new business sales revenue, increasing market share, developing and executing territory coverage plans, and consistently meeting quarterly revenue targets. You'll build relationships with prospects, understand their security needs, and align Optiv solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks. Based on this understanding, you'll collaborate with technical and leadership personnel to refine or build security strategies and develop solutions to meet client needs.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Build trusted, effective relationships with client executives within assigned accounts.
  • Lead the creation of multi-year strategic account management plans based on client business, technology, and security goals, along with security trends and threats.
  • Build a sales pipeline ideally four times your targets within assigned accounts and achieve/exceed gross margin targets.
  • Manage forecasts with high accuracy, currency, and integrity.
  • Execute in alignment with Force Management principles like MEDDICC and Command of the Message.
  • Communicate Optiv’s value proposition effectively regarding security services and technologies.
  • Develop strong relationships with technology partners and their sales teams to generate and share leads, building a qualified pipeline.
  • Coordinate communications between clients, partners, and Optiv team members within each account.
  • Maintain internal communication regarding opportunities, requirements, and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • Ability to work remotely, located in the Kansas City Metro or anywhere in Missouri.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product or services sales within cyber or SaaS technology companies.
  • Experience working with partners on lead generation.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with new customers and serve as a consultant.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas through prospecting and expansion plans.
  • Experience engaging cross-functional resources effectively.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with key executives.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation experience.
  • History of exceeding plans and expectations.
  • Experience building a book of business and territory plans.
  • Strong business acumen, correlating business goals with cyber risks to develop solutions.
  • Experience selling complex, multi-year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
  • Experience selling management consulting services.
