Job summary

BCF Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks an Acquisition Analyst (ADV) to support Missile Defense Agency program management through data development, baselines analysis, and performance reporting. On-site position requiring active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include developing acquisition strategies, writing SOWs and CDRLs, preparing briefings, and supporting all phases of the acquisition cycle; experience with GAO/DOD oversight is a plus. 10+ years in federal acquisition recommended.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field with 10 years relevant experience; MA/MS, PMP or DAWIA Level III substitution may substitute for 3 years of experience
• 10 years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition or DoD program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance
• 5 years in a DoD program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive level review

• Prepare briefings and correspondence in response to internal taskings and external RFIs (e.g., GAO/Congressional/DoDIG/DoD oversight organizations)
• Provide support through all phases of the acquisition cycle

ACQUISITION ANALYST (ADV)

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL (on-site)

SUMMARY: To support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with development and analysis of programmatic data for program management support, to include monitoring and reporting against the acquisition program baselines, to include assistance with program oversight and execution briefings. Alternative responsibilities may encompass development and execution of acquisition strategies/plans, contract requirements packages (e.g., writing SOWs, CDRLs, special provisions, source selection evaluation plans) and supporting prime contract monitoring/management activities.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
• Proficient with the standard Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CLEARANCE:

• Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format.
• May be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 15 pounds.
