Job description

Advanced Deployments Analyst – SAIC – Huntsville, AL. Hybrid remote position. The selected candidate must reside within 50 miles of Redstone Arsenal and be willing to travel to supplier, client, or construction site locations, including both CONUS and OCONUS with approximately 25‑35% temporary duty.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, synchronize, and execute site activation/deployment integration and MDS system deployment requirements.
• Develop program planning documents (schedules, statements of work, cost estimate support, activation/integration plans).
• Develop site deployment facilities requirements documentation and site deployment plans.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures for on‑site operational activities that promote continual process improvement.
• Coordinate and execute daily operational administration at MDS deployed sites.
• Mentor and provide guidance/oversight to basic and intermediate analysts.
• Rotate deployment to MDS sites to support on‑site construction activities, surveillance, and reporting.
• Provide operational support to multiple Deployment Product Managers.
• Develop acquisition plans and support procurement actions.
• Perform special research or technical studies critical to deployment and site sustainment support functions.
• Research industry business best practices and assist with incorporating them into agency/company policies, procedures, and processes.
• Plan and execute working groups and integrated product teams.
• Develop MDA policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices.
• Coordinate and execute daily administration of MDS deployed sites.
• Interact with and coordinate site activation/operations tasks with the government customer, host installations, A&E firms, and executing agencies.
• Participate in project planning and design scoping sessions, charrettes, reviews, and other technical activities as required.
• Provide support in project execution status reviews via status meetings and schedule reviews.
• Prepare project briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint and information papers in Microsoft Word.
• Draft, review, and contribute to technical reports and documentation.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and sixteen (16) or more years of experience.
• Master's degree and twelve (13) or more years of relevant experience.

Required Clearance: Interim Secret clearance required. US citizenship required.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to lead the development and utilization of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
• Capability to lead and execute analytical tasks using advanced techniques for complex developmental and operational programs.
• In-depth knowledge of an applicable facilities‑related discipline.
• Capability to work independently or in a team to solve problems, organize work tasks, and prioritize workload.
• Ability to analyze project documents, meeting notes, and team correspondence to extract issues requiring senior leadership attention and prepare briefs for communication.
• Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast‑paced work environment, across multiple levels of leadership.
• Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions in the best interest of the government customer.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Project management experience during site deployment, including construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management.
• Flexibility to travel/deploy to MDS sites for up to 30‑40 days at a time, and up to 2‑3 times per year.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency.
• Experience in facilities requirements development, design, construction, closeout, and configuration management.
• Experience in DoD site activation for deployed and test activities, U.S. and international sites.
• Experience with integrated project planning, management, and scheduling.
• Experience developing and implementing program activities; coordinating efforts of multiple stakeholders, prime contractors, subcontractors, and support service personnel.
• Problem‑resolving skills in site deployment and sustainment to meet mission requirements.
• Project management experience during site deployment, including construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management.
