Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. is seeking experienced Acoustical Ceiling Mechanics to join our team. You will install acoustical tiles and related materials to ceilings and walls, ensuring precise alignment with blueprints and layout marks.

You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply adhesives, and verify plumbness and level while maintaining a strong safety mindset. Join a team committed to quality and project excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience installing acoustical tiles or similar ceiling materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and layouts.
• Commitment to safety procedures on job sites.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Applies acoustical tiles or shock-absorbing materials to ceilings and walls to control sound and decorate rooms.
• Washes concrete surfaces to improve tile adhesion before mounting.
• Inspects surfaces and mountings for plumbness and level using laser or water level.
• Hangs lines to guide main runners and aligns tiles with layout marks.
• Cuts and fits tiles, applies adhesive, and presses into place per layout.
