Job summary

Northrop Grumman is looking for an Acoustic Analyst Level 2 or 3 in Annapolis, Maryland. The role involves supporting the development of U.S. Navy machinery, including turbines and generators. Candidates should have a STEM degree and relevant experience in simulation tools.

The position offers competitive salary ranges from $87,600 to $131,400 for entry and up to $163,200 for experienced levels, alongside various employee benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience; or master's degree with no experience for Level 2.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience; or master's degree with 3 years; or PhD with no experience for Level 3.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Use classical analysis techniques to understand machinery acoustic performance.
• Develop predictive/simulation models for components and systems.
• Perform analyses to predict performance and resolve issues.
• Gather data from tests and analyze the results.
