Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Associate Chief of Staff for Integrated Clinical Services (ACS ICS) at the John D. Dingell VAMC in Detroit.

The role reports to the Chief of Staff and requires an MD/DO, board certification, and demonstrated administrative leadership. The selected physician will lead ICS services including Neurology, Pain, and Chiropractic care, oversee teaching and research programs, and strive for clinical and operational excellence within a major VHA site

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from LCME-accredited or AOA-approved medical school.
• Board certification in medical specialty.
• Proven administrative and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, develop, and monitor medical staff as part of multidisciplinary teams to meet quality outcomes.
• Optimize clinic capacity and utilization of resources to improve efficiency.
• Lead teaching and develop research initiatives within a major VAMC.
• Provide exceptional patient care and serve as a role model for clinical and administrative excellence.
