The Role

The Assistant Manager-PT reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role involves collaborating with Acima retail partners to process credit applications and web orders, converting them into credit customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, promotes leasing benefits, and drives conversions. This position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

This is an hourly position, with pay ranging from $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, in accordance with Acima's payroll procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins
  • Identifying and fulfilling customer needs promptly
  • Educating customers on Lease-To-Own terms, benefits, and application process
  • Closing sales by converting applications, including in-store and web orders
  • Collaborating with partner stores on operations
  • Reporting activities and performance to the Store Manager

Customer Service

  • Building partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate on the Lease-To-Own process
  • Addressing and resolving customer issues promptly
  • Fostering a positive work environment to retain coworkers

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
  • Organized with good time-management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance

Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time role with varying days and hours, including evenings and weekends, from Monday through Sunday.

Physical Demands

The role requires talking, listening, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing as needed throughout the day.
